A new guide for switching from OnSong
I have added a new guide for musicians who are comparing SongSheet Pro with OnSong, or wondering whether SongSheet Pro can cover the parts of OnSong they actually use.
The guide is intentionally practical. It covers where SongSheet Pro is a strong fit, what transfers across, what may need rebuilding, how the pricing compares over several years, and how to test a migration with a small batch of songs before moving a whole library.
SongSheet Pro imports individual OnSong songs, OnSong archives, and full OnSong backups. Archives and backups can bring your setlists across too, so you don’t have to rebuild them by hand. If you want the detail of exactly what is carried across and what is not, the OnSong support page in the manual has the full reference.
SongSheet Pro is free to try, and subscriptions are available if you want to test it for a while before making a longer-term decision. For musicians who expect to use it for years, the lifetime unlock remains the best value.
If you are moving from another songbook or chord chart app and run into an import problem, please send a support request with a sample file. I’m always happy to help, and every sample file helps make importing better for everyone.
