Exporting setlists as PDF

When exporting a setlist to PDF, SongSheet Pro will present an options and a preview screen. The options control how the setlist will render when exported, and the preview updates when you change any of the options, allowing you to preview the result before you print, share, mark up, or save the PDF.

Export options

You are able to customize:

• Paper controls the paper size, orientation, and margins.
• Setlist controls the Setlist name and Page numbering shown in the output.
• Sets controls Set titles and whether to Begin each set on a new page.
• Song list controls visibility and formatting of the information shown about songs in the summary.
• Songs controls whether full songs are appended after the setlist summary, and opens the song layout and formatting options for those appended songs.

Paper

• Size: Options include US Legal, US Letter, Tabloid, A4, A3, and A5.
• Orientation: Portrait or Landscape
• Margins: For A-series paper sizes, margins range from 5mm to 40mm. For US Letter, US Legal, and Tabloid, margins range from 0.25” to 2.00”.

Setlist

• Setlist name
• Page numbering

Sets

• Set titles: Adjust the visibility of the titles, format the text and background color, and repeat set titles on new pages if the set wraps onto a new page.
• Begin each set on a new page: If a setlist has multiple sets, force each new set to begin on a new page, even if there is space for some of the set to continue from the last page.

Song list

• Numbering: The order the song appears in the setlist
• Song title
• Artist
• Key + capo: Individual visibility controls for the key and capo, with shared formatting controls.
• Duration
• Tempo
• Notes: Choose the number of lines of notes to include. Options include Off, 1 line, 2 lines, 3 lines, and All.

Songs

• Include songs: When on, the generated PDF will include the full text of all songs in the setlist.
• Configure layout and formatting: If Include songs is on this allows you to customize the layout and formatting of all SongSheet-native songs in the setlist.

Note: Changing these settings will change the saved song export settings!
