Bug fixes
Apart from general performance and stability improvements, the following specific bugs have been fixed in this release:
- Initial output for AirPlay mirroring didn’t match the preview and selected stanza
- Images displayed on an external screen didn’t preserve the original’s aspect ratio
- Under certain circumstances changes to song metadata (e.g. author, year, genre, etc) weren’t saved
- The chord palette didn’t work with a split keyboard
- The layout of the library view could be messed up when undocking the on-screen keyboard

- Import songs from iCloud Drive and other supported document sources using the new iOS 8 document picker
- Songs can be now be imported/converted from PDF: on import, files in this format are converted to SongSheet’s native format by extracting and parsing text from within the PDF.
- The import process now has better preview as well as the option to manually correct some conversion issues (e.g. chord lines misidentified as lyrics) and add image tags to a song

- Download the new SongSheet Remote app (free) to remotely control SongSheet from your iPhone or iPod Touch without having to reach out to touch your iPad’s screen.
- You can now (optionally) make the whole song a play/pause button for starting/stopping auto-scroll or a backing track. Simply tap-and-hold, then drag the “normal” play button into the song and let go. To put it back, tap and hold on the song display, and the play button will return to its usual position.
- Switching between performance modes (auto-scroll, arrangement, backing track, etc) and selecting backing tracks has been redesigned to be more intuitive.
- You can now open a PDF generated for an individual song in any app on your iPad that supports displaying PDF files.
- If your iPad supports it, send a PDF version of a song to a nearby iOS device using AirDrop.
